Hey all,

Merry xmas, happy new year and a great and safe sailing year in 2010.

I need help, I need to have an outoard mounted on the stern of my Pelican 27 with forward controls and electric start. I have the motor, controls etc and the mounting bracket. Does any one know of anyone that is (A) competent to install it and (B) charges a realistic fee?

I have two quotes and both are more than I paid for the motor.

I have sailed it numerous times with out motor but last time the wind completely died on me and I almost ended up on the rocks on the west side of Balmoral Beach. That scared the beejeesus out of me so I better have this motor put on.

Regards

Manni

Try looking up APS Marine Electrical. Trevor Robinson on 0402 443322. Not sure how much he charges, but I do know he's resident electrician at the RSYS.
