Hi, we have just returned to sailing with a 30" Catalina and are interested in meeting like minded people in the Redcliffe area. We are moored at Newport marina and are keen to meet people with local knowledge of Moreton Bay. Have looked at the MBYC site etc. Any thoughts on what would be a good way to go.
Cheers
We're over on C finger if you want to hook up for a chat about the Bay.
Boat's the Crowther cat in the end pen, west side...rego ABX802N. Name is Bad Influence, however, hull is unmarked as yet.
I'm usually down there every day working to get ready to go away early September for a couple months. Otherwise Ivan is there other times.

Hi Jo
were you guys out today. Didn't see you out there and when we left the boat around 2ish, your boat was in the pen.
You missed a lovely sail
I took my sister, her kids and my kids out on the little boat and it was just perfect conditions ...gusts up to around 12 knots and lovely flat water......purr, purr.
Talk soon

Hi Guys
If you are interested in social sailing on a saturday then SAG's is held each saturday from around 12 . Head out to entrance to Scarborough Harbour where we start and call up on VHF77. After today i will be away for the next 3 weeks but probably best boat to call would be "OD' or "Page III" if they arent there on the day then call for race organizer. Let Nick on OD or Daryl on Page III know a bit about your boat who you are etc and they will give you a start time and explain the course etc.
SAG's is a social race and nobody takes it to serious
Sunday racing is also available
Look forward to seeing you out there

"Moonshine" (the green boat)

Happy sailing
