Hi

Does the SpaceSailer also come with a dropkeel to make it a TrailerSailer?

Does this affect stability/performance?

Regards

Try emailing this dude AB, sure he would be able to help you out. 900 kg, fin keel and balast, not thinking it would be the best boat on a trailer

No the Spacesailer 24 is strictly a fixed keel boat.
Displacement 4,400 lbs., Ballast 2,000 lbs.

These figures make the Spacesailer very stiff and very safe.

Here are the full specs for a Spacesailer 24.

The Spacesailer 20 or Spacesailer 18 would be worthwhile looking at if trailing the boat is required.

Here are some images of a Spacesailer 24 on a "trailer"

Ok you all!

I went for another look today and clarified the issue for myself. The seller claimed for the boat to be 24ft, but it is indeed a SS22, stock standard.

I also called Swarbrick & Swarbrick who confirmed that no dropkeel SS24 were ever manufactured.
