Please dont do it. Dumb lines won't solve the problem. Swim in cyrstal clear water with no boat discharge. Narra inlet has always been a breeding ground for tigers and bull sharks.marine biologists don't give out the stats most are young and fresh out of uni and have no hands on with the situation and get tied up with with tourist party life style.

Condolences to this mans family. Swimming at that time of day is narrowing the risk of an attack. Especially in a well known anchoring point were food scraps especially seafood are at times disposed of into the ocean. Mating season and the history of drum lines being bated also doesn't help.This would be no doubt a tiger shark attack which have a reputation of being the scavengers of the seas. Their bite is actually worse than that of a great white due to the shape of their teeth. So sad.
