The time has come to replace the standing rigging on my ketch , I will get the masts removed by the marina at what I consider very cheap ( maybe because I will be on the slips for about 3 weeks ) replace or repair what needs doing on the masts . I thought I would send out the rigging and get it made ready for me to re- instal . Does any one know of a reasonably priced ( does that sentence belong in a marine forum ? ) place to get it done In sydney . Thanks

From what I have heard the words "reasonably priced" and "Noakes" should not be used in the same sentence.

Try:-
Joe Walsh at Balmain?? 0410476626 or through Michael Bartley (02) 98794222.

David James at Cammeray Marina (02) 99534761.

Steven Gale (02) 97122807, 0407724506.

I have no experience with any of these people but Joe Walsh was highly recommended to me.

If you are just getting it made up and putting it back together yourself, try " Sydney lifting equipment"

Used to be cheaper than anyone else and use ronstan

Joe Walsh has done my rigging jobs. Spend some time getting to know him and you should get a good job at a good price.

Agree with MB on Joe. Enjoyed working with him though he's sometimes frustrating as he's very old school (no email) and sometimes doesn't answer his phone or stick to schedule. So I was flexible and happier.
Believe no got a good deal for Sydney.
