Has anyone on Seabreeze sailed from Queensland to WA? I'm looking for advice on when to go and how much time to plan for.

Hi. We are presently in Darwin after taking 2 months to sail our 40 ft sloop from Mooloolaba. Mostly anchoring overnight with about 4 overnight or longer crossings. We are heading for Mandurah. Hope to get there mid sept.
Best time to leave Qld is April onwards.Winds mostly S - SE. Mostly well protected by the Great barrier Reef
