If anyone is interested in details of UFO 34 yachts I have drafted the attached Wikipedia article

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UFO_34(yacht)

Would also be interested if anyone has details of the builders of UFO 34's in Australia. I belive some were built in the Eastern States, however have not been able to locate any sources.

Yep, I think this yacht is the prototype that was built in 1973 that the UFO 34 design is based on. I believe it is still racing in the Uk

Great old Boat! Was our first boat partnership about 15 years ago. They are similar to an S&S34.
Still quite a few getting around here in the west. Many were DIY jobs built on front verges.
Our old one was called "Olfrygt", sail number RF184, you can find plenty of photos & vids of her if you google that name.
She still sails out of SoPYC with a new name.

^^^
Yeah, someone even pulled the rudder out of one and stuck it on a ss34 to try to get the s&s to perform like one. May be that's how the Mk2 ss34 came about.
I think even Swarbricks may have built some or one, not quite sure?
