My Weta 4.4 Trimaran is normally "moored" on it's trailer on the road in Rushcutters Bay where I launch it from the pontoon near RANSA (all the nearby clubs have full boat parks and/or only allow certain boats).
However, I am going away to Europe for a month from 7th July and I'd like somewhere safer to keep it and also free up a parking space.
Does anyone have a parking space/field/shed/garage with a space approx 5m x 2.5m around Sydney?

prob doesnt help much but a safe place where i keep my hobie, near my partners parents is virginia st kensington. loads of street space available as everyone has offstreet parking. corner of myrtle and samuel terry for eg. the other thing is you can chain it to the post like i did(ive sold my hobie now) and ill keep a watch as im always there and can contact you...just a free option!
ps. the people around there are nice and have been there for over 40 years mostly. i know most of them. most street places arent safe because of locals thinking they own the street space(clovelly for eg where i moved my hobie to, where it got vandalled and moved by locals, i then moved it back to kenso)
Thanks for the tip. I may do that or park it up the hill away from Rushcutters Bay where there are mostly houses with garages (I've see others parked there too). The "neighbours" in the area have all been very helpful as many sail and at least I'm using the boat not just dumping it like the car I "moor" next to.
well that could be ok. i know for a fact that that spot in kenso has loads of street space and wont bother no one. its also fairlyclose to rushcutters. its hard leaving a boat on the street. ive had problems leaving a 14 foot hobie in waverley, both with locals and council. i ended up taking it back to kenso where its safe as.
