the supplier has sent a new 150L bladder complete and before doing so told me that all the 150L were the same in that the plastic bladders are too big for the Nylon bag and are folded to fit all around the edges. Retarded. He said however that their 100L bladders fit perfectly as im aware as this is what im swapping the 150L for.
I carefully pulled the new bladder from the nylon bag and saw along the creases/folds wear where the bag is starting to potentially get holes due to the folds. It doesnt leak though so this is ok and im currently flushing it out. Problem is though is that the plastic bladder doesnt fit the nylon bag and you need the nylon bag to protect it. Ideally i just want a refund and they can take their junk back but theyre not keen to do this, so ive just rang the guy and told him im keeping the other nylon bag and not sending it back so i can get a seamstress friend to make the thing the right size.
These guys dont seem to have clue. Sent to number 21 instead of 81(my house number. Sent a return bag inside out with the postage details back to them on the inside of the bag. Morons.
A mate who has worked at WW for years said he always had trouble with the 150L bags. No one really knew why , i guess not many people are as pedantic as i and dont go to so much trouble to find the problem. Im sure many install the things, they then leak, the bilge pumps work and they know no different. This is from the manufacturer/importer, its a design flaw/bad atch i dont know but straight up these bladders are junk because of irregular sizing.
DO NOT BUY THE 150L plastimo Bladder!
