That was before pnuematic or silicon fenders were commonplace.I had a hippie girlfriend, a basket weaver amongst her many other talents that basket weaved her own croche bikini for her otherwise non pneumatic enhanced assets.

Ahhh! So you favour pairs of organic bumpers loosly covered with basket weave. Partial to that myself.
I couldn't read and understand the original post so I gave up. However,, organic bumpers loosely covered in basket weave, I did understand. This post may go somewhere after all.
I did a delivery from McKay last year of a dark blue Lagoon 38 cat appropriately named Blue Lagoon. Can't now recall if Brooke Shields in the movie of the same name wore a croche bikini or just a bikini made from scrap sailcloth. I do believe that the movie was shot before Southern California became famous as "Silicon Valley" and silicon enhancement became the norm for the likes of California girls.
