Through this forum a common interest has been seen and communicated between a couple of contributors, ie Marutji and Cisco, ie owning yachts of the same design being Van De Stadt 34s.
Via the forum and subjects raised, some PMing and mobile texting, Marutji and Cisco met up today on the Burnett River (best river on the east coast of Queensland) and spent a very pleasant afternoon aboard Marutji with a bickie, cuppa tea and a glass of wine.
Friends that had not met before.![]()
Seabreeze is an interesting place.... In fact my wife and I have traveled more than 1/2 way across Australia to have a beer and meal/s with people we had never met except from messages on seabreeze, overall we would have met a half a dozen of people from the forum that would have NEVER normally crossed our path in life.
We often think our lives are better for it....![]()
yep , totally agree... never met anyone, but even so, very fun to read and put twobobs worth in on ocasions.

Yep, make sure you do drop by for a beer or five. Look forward to it.
We may yet call into the Burnett on the way north or south from LMI, Cisco.
While I've got you Hangtime..............what's your tankage arrangements with outboards and how do you prevent any um unfortunate explosions?? Do you have bilgeblowers or what?????

Ive got 8 of the Yamaha 24 litre outboard tanks rather than one big fixed tank. They can be placed in any locker (i have several outside vented hatches) on the boat to account for trim and they can be carried to the petrol station instead of the overpriced marina bowser.
New main and jib? .....Definately Xmas
