This is on my cav. I believe you can get a tune up kit for it. We have been getting vibration at the stern. Engine mounts fresh. Engine aligned. Still vibrates.
To me it looks like a seahawk S4 2 blade slip stream??http://www.seahawk.com.au/prodfolding.php
Many thanks

Looks like mine, from memory, which is a Gori 2 blade folding. If it is it isn't tuneable but can be balanced if damaged.
Gori has a hub anode, so Slipstream look right. Just a thought - do you have a 3 cylinder engine? Gear boxes have 1 extra tooth in one wheel to prevent wear patterns so the slight off ratio in the box with a 3 cylinder engine and 2 blade prop can set up harmonic vibrations that are almost incurable.
Interesting. I have a 3 cyl Sole engine driving the 2 bladed prop. It is pretty smooth. The biggest problem was a poorly supported shaft which has been overcome.
Yes that is very interesting Phoenix.
I do have a three cylinder engine.
Next haul out I will get the cutlass bearing checked and the prop / shaft balanced. If all is well then I guess there is nothing more I can do. I just want to be sure its not going to self implode and leave me stranded.
Just noticed the comment about hub anodes. Mine doesn't have one, we have one on the shaft forard of the prop.
It looks a bit like my old Kiwi Seastream.
The Seahawks look the goods. Our new boat has a Kiwi three-bladed feathering prop, which gets mixed reviews.
