I once knew a Skipper who if he didn't like a boat or wasn't sure what to make of it he'd just keep saying, 'My, my oh my', in this instance all I can say is, 'My, my oh my'.

That is the poxiest looking excuse for a yacht I have ever seen.

Who are they trying to kidd?? Angelina Jolie will probably cum in her knickers over it when the owners of it declare they will donate it to transporting those poor refugees across the Mediterranean Sea to "safe haven" in the rich European countries.

As if that would ever happen.

What's with the video with the Tug pulling from astern? Is she aground as I can see mud getting kicked up? Or perhaps sea trials? I can't read German so I can't read the article!

How did all the people involved in the concept and design of this thing not stop at some point and say
Wait a minute this thing looks but ugly surely we can incorporate all the features required and make something beautiful
I just don't get it

If it was a power boat only, I could get it. It still would not be my thing though. As a yacht, it is completely lost on me. I would like to see inside.

not keen on the boat design.....but under full sail it might look fairly awesome, biggest sail area ever on a boat?

According to a news report yesterday, the boat (?) was designed for/by a Russian billionaire and before internal fitout had cost $750,000,000 (yep 750 mil). When finished he will have spent over $1 bil.
They showed his current craft - just as outrageous....

When sailing yachts get that big, they start to look a bit silly. Maltese Falcon looks a lot better than this thing, but Vertigo looks really nice

One can only hope that it's just launched and masts just in and there is no fuel water or even the three swimming pools filled. Bring it down by the stern please. At least we won't see it 'Downunder'. Too big to go anywhere.
