Does anyone know where I can buy toe rail for my 28 ft yacht? Apparently there aren't any production boats being built in Oz anymore so I cant get it from a boat builder. Shipping in 28ft x 2 from OS will be hugely expensive.
I've tried several aluminium places like ALSPEC and CAPRAL but to no avail. Any thoughts or alternative suggestions?
My boat is a converted Soling... so originally a soling hull with the racing type deck replaced with a cabin type deck and seated cockpit. So the deck is marine ply which has then been fibreglassed. Hull is fibreglass.

I was going to chase toe rail up through these guys, but haven't got to it yet. Check out the marine extrusion section.

I sent the WA distributor of Ullrich a couple of emails about toe rail but never got a response, but I never got around to phoning. I'd be interested in hearing if you ever get anywhere Jolene.

gjames.com/ has a range of profiles suitable for toe rails and has a decent distribution network around the country.

I couldn't find anything in the gjames catalogue that seemed appropriate. I was thinking of the UA1335 toe rail profile from Ullrich: www.ullrich.com.au
