Like all boat questions, the answers depend on what sort of boat it is, and what do you intend to do with it in both the short and long term. ANd also how skilled you are in installing the various items.
Is it new or old? Will you circumnavigate, day sail, or do a month cruise each year? Will yau have crew or be solo? Experienced crew or beginners?
