I am looking for an experienced skipper who can sail my 30 ft yacht from Airlie Beach to Mooloolaba late Oct 09, early Nov 09.
Does anyone on do this or know someone who does ?

I have sailed that stretch of coast four times on yachts and about the same on larger power vessels. I may be able to help. If not I have a friend here in Bundaberg who does frequent deliveries.

I do that type of work and know the waters I live in Marcus Beach just up from Mooloolaba.

Byron, I would be happy to help you with your delivery. My friend and I are currently seeking a 30 foot sailboat to bareboat from Airlie Beach around the Whitsundays. If I were to charter your boat, I could then deliver it to Mooloolaba after a few days. We want to do some diving. I am from Maui and he is living in South Carolina. We arrive Airlie on 24 Oct and are just about ready to book a charter- maybe today. I have a lot of sailing experience- since I was 14 years old.
I sailed to Maui when I was 20 years old from Florida, on the East Coast of the U.S. It took 79 days. I now have my U.S. Coastguard Captain's license.
