Anyone familiar with Yamba bar know what its like to cross with a 2m easterly swell, 4th to 6th hr of a rising tide?

I know a 3m swell would be out of the question on this bar. I have only gone over it once & it was less than 1m & not easterly.
cheers

This is not going to help.

I am not familiar with the Yamba bar but entered ther in late May last year. I was pushing against a heavy Sout Westerly and the swell was pretty big as the wind had only just change.

In a few short words I was pooping myself. The current swirls in the river mouth looked strong enough to swallow the lot!
