Pumicestone Passage is atrocious in SE. Generally very poor holding ground in any conditions.
I wouldn't leave my boat on anchor in Pumicestone unattended for longer than a trip to the beach. Even then, keep an eye on her.
You can tie up to the jetty at Bongaree. Last time we did this in a previous boat, we stayed overnight. With this boat, though, I've been disinclined to do the same thing as I'm usually by myself and the jetty attracts less savoury types.
There is no safe anchorages round the Pumistons passage unless you can get under the bridge. It is poor holding and exposed to the southeast. I know of several boat that have been sunk there. You would be best to go into the Cabulture river. It is a far safer anchorage and with you draft you will not have any trouble getting in. The main shallow spot is Bakers flat which you will need to cross on the top of the tide, but there is plenty of room to anchor before Bakers Flat.
