angle on a catermaran rudders

i muck around on a 16ft holie cat by my self .. i sail id down wind like a skiff .. bear away in gusts ..... but as the boat is on a angle to leeward when i turn rudders to bear away they lift the stern and nose dive ...... does anny one know of anny designs to have angled rudder blades ...... or anny other techniques on down wind sailing

You just cant do that with a spinakerless cat. It the easiest way to cartwheel a cat is to sail it like a skiff.
There is an exception to the rule and that is when you put a kite on the front and then it is a cat upwind and a skiff downwind and can be pretty exciting
