Lot of boat for the money. I can never understand why motorsailers are not more popular in Australia, lots of people use their yachts as motorsailers anyway!

Tag has priced it to sell
It really only needs a small amount of time and not much cash
If I was retired if buy with some of my super
But that can't happen till at least next year
The Columbus inside and well set up for coastal work and getting into tight spots
You can bring them in on a high tide and drop them on a beach for maintainance
To me as a live aboard on a low budget it's perfect
Bulls had one for sale $50000 it's gone now and an other one recently sold for 28000

What's the definition of a motor/sailer HG. I thought m/sailers had an internal steering station.??

To me the boat would make a excellent share boat between let say four shares
A month on the hard and sail it to lakes entrance moor it there
When Cameron's to sell it or a share
It would not take ling

You may be right, but IMO if greater the speed under motor may be reached than when under sails alone, that boat may be called "motor - sailer". IE if I extend rigid dodger on Tulak: helmsman position will be an "inside position". Definition probably is as flexaible as a bungy cord.

The mangrove jack has no keel
So she has reduced draft so you can poke around in shallow water sail or motor
Usually there slower so they increase there speed by adding the motor to the mix
The mangrove jack has a wide beam lots of room in side
As a share boat you could moor it in one location then move it o a different state
Ralf motor sailed it down from northern N.S.W.
When he originally bought her
I guess they motor sailor also has reduced sail area

HG my brother in law has been looking for what will be his first KB for a while.

Ideally something with standing headroom, up to say 32ft,diesel, tiller steer and wider sidedecks.
Budget would be up to around 20K, and Melb or this side would be good.

As it is husband and wife, furling headsail is a bonus, and no massive loads.

Cosmetic, rig, sails, not much of an issue at this price, so long as bones and diesel ok.
It has no keel at all, or stub and interior ballast? and centerboard?

They have sailed a few times with me on the cat, so may not be happy with motorsailor speeds though.

Any comment on sailability/speed and tenderness in general?

I will send the link, the stern boarding arrangement may help in this case with egress from dingy.
cheers for heads up.
