I pulled my compass today its reasonably empty of fluid was wondering what to use or if its near empty of fluid is it worth the hassel
. A mate of mine gave one to a friend to drop in for a repair they charged him $400 For that price Id rather buy a new one

I refilled mine with baby oil.
Baby oil is not all that clear and may react with the remnants of the previous stuff. I used Propylene Glycol.
