gbyc regatta is coming up who is going?
a group of nacras will be traveling down south for this regatta
what other classes are coming down?
There will be 3 f18's, 3/4 16sq's and a 5.8 travelling from bunbury, so lots of compatition for the hobie 16's and tornados.
Hey Ryan,
well done on your 3rd at the Nationals.
I am keen to come down, but getting reasonably priced accommodation will be tough.
I will talk to Billy tomorrow to see if he is keen.
Jared
Cheers Jared, was a BIG learning curve!!!
Most of us pitch a tent at the club, nice and close, brekky run in the mornings (Maccas, haha) otherwise im pretty sure the club has had cooked brekky past few years, i will try to get a NOR from Crackles and post on here,
Catcha
Ryan
We are keen, but am concerned over the fact that Crackles T and Aus271 are not even back in WA yet.
Are you guys 100% going to be sailing ?
If 251 and 271 are not back, i'll be out on the F18 as will Goose and hopefully Wayne on his Tiger making it 3 F18's, as well as 1 maybe 2 5.8's and 3 or 4 16SQ,
Thats Just from our club, TCYC will probably venture down with their Fleet of Yvonnes to bump numbers up, Dont think Hobies are coming, Cam mentioned something bout regatta in Albany when i saw him at Somers, still good cat numbers though.
Hi Jake, we will hopefully have a few of our Cherubs Coming down so u will have someone to play with...
Ryan
hahaha YES!
yeah the yvonnes from TCYC are coming down
as well as some of the minnows and flyingants from there
im pretty sure your right - good cat numbers but very little/no hobies.
still have no chance of getting cock of the bay tho :P
would like to bring the 17 down, but i will be crewing on an yvonne for the weekend looking forward to some good racing.![]()
Coming from bunbury so far
3x F18's (2 x Nacra Infusion 1 x Hobie Tiger)
4x Nacra 16Sq
1x Nacra 5.8
Would actually be quicker to sail the boat down than to de-rig, drive, then rig boat again.....hmmmmmm......
It now looks like we have 2 Tornado's coming from Nedlands.
Bettter make sure you have some wind down there for us ![]()
