hi,
is anyone able to identify what timber has been used in my boat interior?
if its teak does anyone know where to get some more in the brisbane area.. im looking at adding some fixtures in the same timber already used
thanks!
Plywood not teak c grade structural ply
ahh i dot think its ply as theres no sandwich.. its solid timber.
the Meranti looks closer.
You have not given us much to go on here in terms of history bubble, but on first impression I was thinking Tas Blackwood.
Looking at it more closely,I would probably agree as being Pacific Maple/Meranti.
Could also be coachwood. bubble7777 is in Queensland and coachwood is a local species. Used to be the common choice for marine ply years ago.
