Anyone have any ideas on the best / safest way to put a motor on a heron?
Not sure how much HP I could go to either..... thoughts?
Mine has a lip over the stern - which matches the decking..... so not sure how I can get around that... if I can tweek it somehow - might make a reasonable fishing boat on windless days in the Port Phil bay......
i gotta 2hp four stroke honda that pushes my trailer sailer round great. only ways 12 kg and is air cooled so you can warm her up out of the water.If you can find one cheap enough it will be awesome.

Forgive me for being a bit old fashioned, but last time I checked, you didn't have to get a license for a dinghy if the HP was under something like 10 HP? Is this right - or do I have to do a course?
