bought a 150L one of these from ebay. Arrived on Thursday and ive spent the last 5 days at home flushing it out to make it good for drinking water. Got it good, drove up to boat today and the thing was leaking like a mofo all through the bilge. So rowing ashore, getting 30L of water, putting it in, then the thing is leaking...kept playing around with the vlaves and the hose clips and def had all those nice and tight. no water leaking from there.
Brought it back home and picked apart the stitching(actually one corner was apart straight from the box), pulled the bladder out of its nylon bag and had a good look. Its actually a bigger bladder than the nylon bag and is folded all the way around with about a 2 inch overlap . Theres ****en holes all around the whole bladder where some moron folded it!!!!!!!
Spewing. Spent like 5 hours messing with this thing today, and cleaning out my bilge after the thing leaked all through it!
On a brighter note the water tastes great after using vinegar and then bicarb a few times flushing it. The ebay seller better sort this out@!

I'd be asking for a refund. Water bladders need to be able to handle a bit of a buffeting. Quality must be crap.
I have a bladder I purchased from ARB for my 4wd and it has copped a flogging, now look crap but still holds water. Check out the 4wd shops you may find something that suits.

same place i had the other one. under the cockpit where an engine would go if i had one.
Its all sorted , i went straight to the importers and told them the story, now the ebay seller is all over it finally. THey went from " Get stuffed - you ruined it" to we'll send just the plastic bladder - maybe," to " we'll send you a complete new one.
The quality wasnt bad - its just that the bladder was too big for the nylon cover so some moron folded all the sides and on these folds are little holes. THey aint made to be folded like that. Common sense should tell anyone this.

Good that you perservered. BTW if your tenants are building a house, what's the bet they'll need the house for more than 4 months? ;)
