Thank you so much. Will do. Which way did you go? North or south? I am taking our boat from Sydney to Hobart. Don't have enough time to do it in one go.

A mate of mine recently bought a 27 footer from Sydney down to Hobart andf left it for a while in Eden

I will be seeing him on Sunday and i will ask him what he had there and let you know

Thank you Don. We have a 32. Would be great to get some advise from someone who did the trip recently. I might have time early Sept to bring her from Sydney to Eden. Not enough time to do the whole trip then.

My mate bought this one in sydney as cheap as and sailed her down on a wing and a prayer

I think he did it in around 4 trips with a few little drama's along the way but made it in here the end

The last leg was Eden to Franklin (on the Huon south of Hobart) in one go without going ashore

Years ago he bout a 24 footer in Arlie Beach and sailed it down to Hobart so he was pretty confident in doing the trip across in the 27 footer
