Well I have a Windrush 14 I use as a yacht tender. I bought it sans rig but a galvanised trailer off eBay for $81. Removed the tramp and made a plywood platform with a recessed cockpit for rowing. Oars are 3 metres long and made from windsurfer masts. Rows well and hangs off my mooring from one hull and is particularly safe for normal embarking and disembarking.

Lots of surfcats laying about going to waste.

I'm not anti surf cat by any means, I sold a Prindle 16 last year. But those old surf cats laying about in peoples front yards with rotting tramps can have a second life.

Hi Hoppy

I have a Hobie 16 that is complete and on a licenced trailer. Have not used it for two seasons now due to windsurfing, new baby and other yachts.

It is old but solid - want around $ 1300.00 for it though.
