yeah i noticed the forecast in Bass Strait is a little wild
www.bom.gov.au/vic/forecasts/centralgippslandcoast.shtml
yup, 46 knots measured before right where my boat is (was).
The southerly cold front is yet to come through , still northerlies here at the moment, and 46 knots would have been in the shade.
I hope all your boats stay were you left them last.
Massive high tide too.....
yup, Winter is nigh upon us once more, time to up anchor a head North if your lucky enough to be able to do so, otherwise it's a case of bundle up and bunker down
Took a look at Mornimngton around 10 am to see how it was going with the new pier with the wave barrier. Inside its a lot better but for boats moored outside of the protection zone it's still a wild and risky ride. There is one, a Beneteau up on the beach, luckily wnhere there arnt many rocks....... might have dodged them.
