Weather depending, I leave Saturday 8th at 4:00am from Broken Bay to get to Shoal Bay in Port Stephens for dinner.
Scheduled overnight stops are Laurieton, Coffs, Yamba and Southport for the first leg.

LittleBoris was looking forward to crewing on the trip north, but unfortunatley has pulled the pin due to work commitments. I will still have BigBoris joining me for this leg. Change of crew for the next leg to Rosslyn Bay.

I don't have a crew lined up for Rosslyn Bay to Mackay at this stage, although a few people have expressed an interest.

Will do. We should be in after 4pm on Tuesday week. Which is the best side to anchor for the night, Yamba or Iluka?

Iluka EC31, but watch out for the sand bank to port after you go through the wall.

I agree Iluka is the go, tho Yamba is a better hide from a nasty southerly. The marina in Yamba has layed moorings in the best anchorage, the Yamba shores taven has a pontoon that cost nothing but you are obliged to partake their hospitality
we are in Iluka at the moment

Hey EC31, I am very disappointed I can't join you on the trip up.

I did speak with Big Boris last night and said you guys are ready to roll this Friday and the weather looks to be agreeable. So fair winds and enjoy the trip I'm sure you will have a blast.

Will get in touch about the return trip if I can be of assistance.

Yep, shame you wont be there. There are a couple of slots for the way home, will contact you and check your availability, even if just for a long weekend. BigBoris has a copy of the schedule if you see him in the next few days.

A hiccup in the plans with the stern gland springing a leak last weekend. Boat is out of the water at the moment, hopefully everything will be back on schedule. Glad we found it this week and not next week......
