any one know of any new wind foil developments of a one single front wing, mast fuse and stab that can lift and fly at 10 knots and give control and speed at 30 plus knots with one foil board and limited couple sails just interested if there are new new wind foil developments (and not wingding)

10 to 30 knots is a big range. Maybe my sabfoil 909 could do 12 knots with a 5.3m and 30 knots with a 3.0.

But 30 knots is fin weather for me lol

It's called IQ foil. Not new, but that's what it can "cover", with one sail rather than two to boot.

yeah, you need to be a pro athlete to get 30knots out of it, but thats what comes with covering that kind of ground. Alternatively, and for a more mortal option, my mate has done 30knots on his Patrik Aeon foil. No doubt he could get it going in 10 knots too if he'd bother trying. But unless you go the IQ foil, and get really good, I think having a foil capable of doing both involves changing wings and sail sizes.

My quiver at moment is sabfoil W1110, W1000 on 110 fuse with 399 stab on early pre kracken 95 carbon race mast also I have the phantom iris x pro freerace 930/730 /550 wings with 1000 fuse but I'm thinking seriously about selling all to buy the (expensive)patrik aeon 95 mast 750 wing v2 fuse and 190 stab to give me close to wind /speed range of my current quiver any thoughts?

O am interested in a one board sail and foil for general upwind and downwind free race - probably some out of date race stuff would do or IQ ?

IQ is the best all round race gear that you can use to go fast upwind and downwind, or you can use it to just cruise around.

iQ is of course a good allround set up but is by now a bit dated. New foils have better, and more accessible performance, even without having to resort to the latest and greatest. For a more allround experience I would also favor a board in the current PWA range (85cm wide), which is still plenty wide for doing some up/down wind sailing but is much more manageable on a reach.

Just to say: while iQ is still a valid choice, there are other, and in my view, better options out there.

Well I've gone mad and ordered a Patrick aeon foil not a do it all foil but think it's going be fun trying to make it work as all rounder 😁

It's going to be a walk in the park. Even the AIO, which I have, is a huge upgrade in ease of use over the IQ stuff.

Aeon is probably the best foil out there at the moment so you should be fine.

Yeah it's going to be interesting how it compares to my older sabfoil quiver

I prefer the v1 against the v2 riding the 750 AEON. In cases of choppy conditions the 100 mast is superior with 900 and 750 - but needs an 91-88 cm width of the board.

BALZ Pro wings, especially the 909
for freeride or swell u can go as u say with a quiver 3.3-4.8, I do it all the time, it’s a one wing quiver

allthough i prefer the 969 in 4.8 wether
rarely ever use the 5.2 unless i chase speed in light winds

these wings have a terrific design, very open ended top speed and marginal pitch issues
