Bought the slx uvs stab 180 2 degres
I have the 109 fuselage and 665 and 865
Yes a race windfoil setup
Do i have the wrong stab?
I cant see that you can order such a plus 2 wing anywhere.
To much lift on this foil even in 23knots of speed.
Got a little better when i reversed the fuse(less power) but that not recommended bu Starboard

I've got a similar setup but with the older Evo MkII fuselage system.

What sail sizes are you using and what wind angles are you sailing?

The 109 fuselages are really only for upwind/downwind racing. I use it with a 9.0 sail and 0deg or +0.5deg shim. The SLX wings are much more powerful than the previous SLR wings and I've had to reduce my shim angles for equivalent sizes.

Do you have shims for the UCS fuselage? I think they're an optional extra now but sounds like you might need to try a negative shim.

Was about to ask “are Starboard not using shims anymore?” before I read hangovers reply (I’m still on iq, bit out of the loop on new starboard gear), but yeah, reduce the shim angle is the traditional fix for too much power, because it tends to work. Move down the shims till you find the one that reduces the power enough.

Yes got much better with reverse fuselage
I bought the extra schims for stab also and
Tested with -1 and feels better in 23-24 knots of speed.
The iq foil was stable for me around 25knots so its a good compersion2
I use sails from 4.4 to 7.8
Not racing with big sails anymore
