well we have a shark the same size swimming around our bay at the moment. The altona shark that was spotted a while ago was again spotted at half moon bay the other day. It's the size of a mini bus as well. I have been abit nervous windsurfing the bay lately

Who spotted it? Pictures? Article? Proof?

Half Moon is way too close to windsurfing spots!!!

Yes, they have kept real quite about it. I noticed the helicopters have been flying around alot more too, looking around for something. Even when I was windsurfing st. kilda the other day, 2 cops on jet skis were going up and down the beach. The funny thing is, i did see something out there at st. kilda that day. It was a seal I hope, wich popped up in the water. It looked like it had no fin. All I could see from a distance was it's shiny black skin wich looked like the size of a seal or dolphin.

If sharks were bad enough. Now I'll be looking out for minibuses. I'll have to rename myself to minibus biscuit.
I'm completely paranoid now

"Tourist killed by 'dinosaur-sized' shark off South African beach
Zimbabwean holidaymaker eaten by shark described by onlookers as 'longer than a minibus'" - Was in the opening headline.
To be swimming in such shallow water & attacking from beneath perhaps it was the size of a convertible minibus

Watch Megladon - Shark attack 3. Big sharks in that movie! I'm pretty sure its a true story too, like Jaws.

The helicopters etc at Half Moon Bay were probably looking for the missing snorkeler. It was in the Bayside Leader newspaper if you search online.

Are you sure the vic shark isn't the "massive" wobby from Manley. I have heard its on a five state media junket funded by all the tv stations. Apparently the guy who was bitten has also been paid to keep quiet about the size of the monster wobby that bit him..
