Yep, thas right! First place walks away with $1000 in the Pro-division of the Lancelin wave contest.

This Thursday and Friday at South Passage at Lancelin. Other divisions will be run - Open, Masters, Juniors, Women, etc.

With the forecast looking good, and the biggest prize purse for any wave contest in Australia it's worth getting yourself up to Lano later this week.

It looks like some good conditions for the event so start working out your excuses to tell your boss why you won't be at work and get yourselves up to lano by 11am Thursday for rego.

Also please note the finish time depends on numbers if we do not have the time to finish the event on Thursday we will need to finish it on Friday.

With many divisions from Pros to Novice any level will have a great time.

Also the divisions under the Pro's will be run as Expressions sessions which will allow everyone plently of time in a more relaxed format to show the judges what you have.

Comp's like this are great for any level and it is amazing how competing in them helps improve your level of sailing.

Sorry this is very off topic,
Ben- not sure if you'll remember but you borrowed a fin off me a dutchies a few months ago and i've been overseas since. You had just flown in from South Africa i think? It was a maui fin co carbon. If you'll be up in lancelin for the party can you bring it up with you? I should be around Saturday/Sunday. Cheers, Dave

Thursday /Friday dose nt make it easy.

MY FINS say firmily in the water these days.

After Coronation festival my body is really fingered.........

I like a challenge but,,,,, you got me thinking , GRUNDY AND NO ALCHOL / DRUG TESTING procedures ?

Hope not , to be a late scratching....... strugling to get back into the water for the weekend at this point.

pS I might see you at the bar but.

CARVE UP

Still taking bets at 1.75 per dollar unit on Jagermister.

You,,, my main man, are paying at 2.50 but i am expecting this to shorten.
