Hi gestalt, OD just finished today, rob treharne smashed it. More results will come when everyone gets over 4 days of course racing, slalom, freestyle and marathon. Pics coming soon. Might even head over to hawks nest during the week too :)
Final day of the Raceboard Oceanics today with a great NE wind up to 20 knots. Four races on the favoured "P" course were a lot of fun. John Demol continued his dominantion with four wins and was duly awarded the champions trophy. Checkout the website for more.
Wish i had a camera for the finish of Sundays race. Watching the race-boards reach to the finish was pretty spectacular.... Lots of new boards and sails on display also.
Hey, I'm totally biased because I have the new Starboard Phantom 377, but I reckon it is a great board - well mannered in all points of sailing, good in light winds but better when it is windy. Check out the video on www.iycwindsurfingevents.net.au and my review in "Gear Reviews" on this forum.
