Kite's a new activity, basically they're all newbies.

I remember windsurfing at the beginning: people getting caught offshore, rowdiness at the beach, the look-at-me attitude.
Now it's their turn, only a little worse with the serious accidents and closing of beaches.

Perhaps they'll learn. Else Darwinism will fix all that.

Rider5,
Is that your age or IQ.

I dont think its very mature to make jokes when someone has been seriously injured.[}:)]

A bit of fun bagging each others sport is one thing but joking when there has been a serious injury is just pathetic.

You know he and his family probly read this forum and I think joking about it is a low dog act.

Guess it shows your mentality.

Hope he has a fast recover.
best wishes.

Dude,Im not after your respect,why would I want it?????Seriously.

Someone getting seriously injured and now will face months of recovery, loss of income, could be a real struggle for him and his family.
Im by far not the brightest spark ,but Im smart enough not to make jokes on a topic about someone getting badly hurt.
Thats just insensitive.
I bet rider5 wouldnt be very impressed if it was one of his mates or family members that was laying in hospital and someone was treating the topic as a joke[}:)]

Cant beleive your that unsypathetic to someone nearly getting killed.
But thats your prob I guess,
I will be the bigger man(not hard) and not bite. Not worth the time.
If you want to keep carrying on, PM me ,not disrespect on this topic.

Anyway,
Big thumbs up to the couple of windsurfers that came down to assist him after the crash.Good karma to you.

It's pretty important that we're not pricks about this. Kitesurfers may be the darkside (www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=58742) but they're still subject to the code.

I hope he gets better soon.
