Hi Guys,

Planning a trip to Maui in the second half of this month or early September and looking for recommendations for accommodation - budget, but not too cheap & nasty...

My first trip to Hawaii so any helpful information appreciated.

Looking around Paia and Kahalui - info from a mate that's been before a long time ago...

BTW how much does the wind drop as you start to move into September?

peace out

Glenn

Have a browse through www.vrbo.com there's plenty of options. Paia and haiku both very "local" feeling whilst kihei more touristy. Have a great trip.

What's your budget per night? How many nights?

Don't really have a specific budget - but really only plan on resting indoors not much else

Arriving 11th August - departure date ~10 days later, just about to confirm bookings for flights

peace out

Glenn

I stayed at a place called the greenhouse in May with Adrian Levy and Tim Wyers. Right in the heart of Paia it was $70 a night. It has a share kitchen and bathroom, has on site housekeepers and is very clean. Adrian has the contact details if you're interested.
