Allison is windsurfing from Victoria to Tasmania, have a listen you might learn something Radio 2GB at 3.30 NSW.
Ain't internet wonerful.
The whole world could have listened to 2GB streaming audio and no doubt will soon have replay of the interview on their site, but whatwould you have missed?
Suggestions that she might have her arms torn off holding onto "that bar" and questions about handling calls of nature.
Better to put up a youtube video of a trial run over some southern ocean swell and get a million views of her classy act.
FYI
2GB is Sydneys right wing rabble rouser station.

There was a bloke called Nick Moloney who did the same trip in the late 90's. Nick http://www.ocftp2.com/nick/general/NickMoloneyCV.pdf. He was a Whitbread Round the World Aussie sailor. He gave a talk at an SHQ swap meet If I remember correctly.
Couple of things I remember about the talk:
He said he hadn't done much windsurfing so to prepare for the crossing he hired some gear from SHQ and sailed to Queenscliff!!
He also said at the end he had a ulcer covering the entire roof of his mouth!! ouch!!
Best of luck to Allison. Bass Strait is a very nasty piece of water.
