As it reads, Alex sounds like a young fella has a great attitude - well done young man, big credit to his parents too.

Reckon we will see big things from this goal oriented grom, he is talking beating his PBs, and aiming to be the youngest to crack 30knots......I remember what a big deal it was when Fred Heyward broke 30kn in the eighties(?)...from memory Fred used an assymetrical speed board, a one sided boom on the Pryde RAF system, and a truckload of determination. And now Alex, a grom with a big heart and top outlook, is aiming to be the youngest to crack 30kn.....go mate, go, keep having goals, smash them and then set new ones, it is the most underated thing to do.

Keep the great attitude Alex. When you get big and start your own windsurfing company like JP I will buy your boards and sails!

regards, Adam

He will be aiming to beat my 43.44 knots speed when he enters the juniors on GPS Team Challenge, any way a great read and 30knots should not be too far away for you!!

You are a true inspiration Izaak - but I don't think anyone will be beating your record in the next 10 years! What you have done is absolutely amazing! I'd really love some tips though...

Thanks for all those kinds words guys. Vegemite rules!

PS By the way Adam, if I ever do start a windsurfing company, I reckon you can have some gear for free... (Maybe you'd like a job in charge of marketing!)
