Hi,
I need to do a small sailboard repair. Has anyone used the product "U-POL FIBRAL Sandable Glass Fibre Repair"? Does this product react with the board core? Any other product recommendations for small hole repairs?

Thanks

according to google, it's polyester based which as you are aware could be bad news if the fumes reach the core

U-POL FIBRAL is a short-strand fibre glass polyester paste used for bridging holes in steel and fibre glass panels.

Don't do it.

That's borderline for just filling vs. 'doing it right'

If you just want to fill it, get Solarez UV cure, contains a bit of fibre. But buy the EPOXY one

Better is to sand it out about 2mm deep so it is nice and bevelled, and lay up 3 layers of glass with an epoxy resin like West 105. Cost $30.

Just move that 20c coin a few cm up and I think your problem will disappear..
