great place to have a sail, nice little reef break about 200mtrs out when the tide changes, caught my first wave while sailing yeh hah!! still cant gybe though!!

A few questions.

Did you drive there through the National Park? What direction was the wind coming from? I'm keen to sail at places around Sydney that are not crowded, mainly at the carpark. It sounds quite good there and I have a few days off work.

If the waves are breaking consistently over a reef and its sort of side shorish then you have a good chance of cracking your first gybe there, timing it so you catch wave as you change tacks.

Cripes, I can consistently plane out of gybes on flat water and still stuff up the timing when there are lumps involved...
