Hello, what a miserable winter eh? So am moving to Ballina for work.
Any good flatwater spots in that area?many thanks in advance .

Apparently the river is good somewhere around about between the bar and the sailing club

Thanks for that, I will be staying at the caravan park across the road fom the sailing club, when i get there..........sounds bl...dy good to me

Yeah sailing club for flatwater in anything south or west with good speed runs over at the porpoise wall,
SE to E good runs towards the coastguard tower (from sailing club)
or near the bridge,
N to NE best to head south to Yamba or The Pass at Byron Bay for B&J

Waves
S - SE Flat Rock just north of Ballina.
NE Lennox Head
