Thanks for sharing, it's always good to see where others sail, oh and Brendan's mental ![]()
Toes have gone numb just thinking about it Brian. I'm OK with you having gone down to check it out but deciding against going in. I've heard there's still a vacancy or two for the 2nd week of the exodus to Lord Howe Island if you need thawing. Has that island in the fog lost a tree?

Thought you'd enjoy it, Bob, from a FNQ perspective. We all love our sport; Brendan put that love into practice in atrocious conditions. ![]()

Yes, Ian, the willow trees have been removed from Spinnaker Island, and there's no longer a pronounced wind shadow in its lee.
There's been a concerted effort to clear the regional waterways of willow. It is now classified as invasive, noxious weed.
FNQ? Lord Howe? What lovely options! ![]()
When I sailed there is 99 & 2000, the sleet/snow never bothered me too much, just the duck shyte between my toes walking in and out of that lake!
When I was young and stupid I did that . Now I'm old and stupid I went to work ,outside with no cover
