No problem till the Worksafe Inspector comes around. Then you are going to be in deeper **** than is imaginable. The reversing beeper doesn't work nor does the overhead flashing light. The indicators and stop lights are defective, the brakes and handbrake are defective, the horn doesn't work, the tyres are defective, the tynes are worn and need to be replaced, The seat is torn and the seatbelt non existent, the exhaust pipe and muffler are defective and engine and hydraulic oil leaks are unacceptable. The steering tie rods and ball joints are worn and must be replaced. The gas bottle is of an inappropriate type for lpg fuel and is not affixed in the correct manner, the fuel hose is defective. Thats an immediate prohibition notice with maybe 14 days to effect repairs.

Or technical problems, the forklift is still fitted for use with liquid fuel delivery to the lpg thingo. With the bottle having fallen off from its side position or upside down position mounting into an upright position then only gas phase lpg will be delivered and it won't run/tun very poorly. If the connection to the bottle from the forklift liquid hose connection has been fabricated using a regulator this will get damaged by the ingress of liquid lpg so it wont last long.

We had one of these Clarke 5000lb forkliftd for many years untill it was (forceably) retired from our factory to my fathers private workship. Guess why? After a few years the the lpg thingo stopped working because of a tired diaphragm. At a cost of $500 or thereabouts for repair it was decided to run the old girl by feeding gas directly into the intake manifold and he uses a Swap'n'go bottle sitting on the back tied on with a bit of rope. Alternatively he has mounted a 45kg vapour bottle using a little platform that sits in the towing pin recess.

Can you see a problem? Not one that cannot be overcome.

Right rear wheel has too much camber so the steering knuckle is probably flogged out.

The protection around the gas bottle needs to be a bit thicker to cut down on noise.

An enthusiastic kiter decided to replace his kite with a hot air baloon for non windy days, hoping for some riding and more air time.
He also found out that LPG could have a double effect so he hooked it up to his ride, his mom bought him for his birthday.
