"Learning to windsurf can be compared to chess in that there are many pieces moving in different directions which you have to keep track of. After a few goes most finally catch on. Whereas learning to kite board is more like learning checkers."

interesting analogy. I always thought it was more akin to backgammon myself.

Wow,,so many threads on here bagging kiteing,,
whilst no threads in the kiteing forum bagging poledancers??

I guess we can understand the insercurities though,
when the sport of dance is nearing the end,,no young people want to do it, most schools have gone broke from lack of intrest and now Aussie importers are shutting shop. Poledancing armageddon isnt far away.

Surley you guys could put your energy into dancing , instead of spendng all your time on the interweb whinging about those evil kiters having so much fun.
Enjoy your life,it is getting shorter by the minute.

(long rant snipped here)

Funny, I didn't see any bagging in this thread.

If you have a gripe with the Wiki wording, you should take it up in the Discussion+Edit pages for that entry. It was one bizarre sentence in the first place.

Your rants: windsurfing was too difficult for you, so you switched to something easy - big deal, get over it.

^^^^^^Î must of struck a nerveLOLíng

Dont take it personal pierce,,just commenting that there arent many threads on here that dont mention/bag kiteing in some way.

The number of posts/threads a week not mentioning kiteing , would be about 10 posts a week.
I guess this forum would be pretty slow and boring if you guys hadnt invented kiteing for the next generation to enjoy.
