Too right folks-it sucks that WA refused to join the modern world. I'm going to try to organize my summer hours on daylight saving, but I reckon it might be tough..

Thats the idea. If you operate flexi time at work, nothing to stop you adopting a day light saving life, every one on the same line of latitiude gets the same amount of daylight.

IF you can live daylight savings time whilst the rest of your state lives ,er , whatever you call the other time, you should beat the rush hour and you'll be at the beach ever quicker.

You lucky, lucky b******s.

No wind this weekend and I didn't even feel the urgency, It can wait until midweek

jeez-get over it will ya?
Move to NSW or Vic and you can have all the DLS you want. You'll be in the "modern world" with all the "lucky baskets".
And we wont have to listen to the whining.

DLS is for losers and it fades your windsurfing sails. And that has been scientifically proven.

Three great things about daylight savings, firstly you don't get woken up at 4.30am by birds screeching and singing outside of your bedroom window, it happens at 5.30am.

Secondly, it gets dark around 8pm or so in the middle of summer.

Thirdly it stimulates the economy through its well known effects on the three Cs: curtains, clocks, and cows.

By fading curtains and forcing people to buy new ones.
By making people buy a second clock for summer.
By making the cows not knowing what time it is thus producing more milk.
