This year they went for unlimited entries (last year was 1111), only 800 so far but still to weeks to register.

I just had a look at his titles, he should enjoy competing with the big guys...

I too would recommend to stick to Albeau and Diethlem (he's already done it)
Advice from my mate Laurent who did it last year, stay close to the beach, avoid the helicopters (
) and grab a good wetsuit (being a tropical guy like us he finished 3rd but frozen)
According to him even if it blows, there are a few "no wind" areas so you're better off rigging big !!
