If they don't drop their prices below last years they will need some really really really really good boards having seen the prices of other brands for 2012.

In reality if they make them any more expensive you may as well buy a custom made from Nude, Stone or Quadro. Especially if you are after a wave board. Interesting to see they are not going the Thruster route and won't offer any serious wave options over 95 l. Looks like JP and RRD will have an open playing field again next season.

same as last year, price wise

they look really cool, but windsurfing is killing itself with prices

im not getting any new north or fanatic gear anymore, cant afford it... not at $3000 a board and over $1000 a sail and thats not including mast and booms....

awesome gear tho, really love the gear, just out the price range...

Just have to say there has been decreases across the board from fanatic and north. Not sure what prices you checked out but ask for another look.
Sam.

I think there'll be other (better) options available!

I like the look of that JP FSW Thruster, could be an ideal B&J and part time wave board for Sydney.

The new boards look smashing. I ordered a 2012 Fanatic 109L Skate TE for my early planning, light wind do all board to complement my smaller 93L JP S/Thruster Wave. I am not a freestyler but there are many guys out there using them for this purpose....... Ant Baker uses one as an easy/freeride/light winder/small surf ocean blaster and raves about it, as do a few guys on here. Mind you there are a few tricks I would like to learn too, so it will come in handy as my biggie! Will post a review once I have had a couple of sails on it.

The board cant come soon enough (Sept-ish)......the August NEs are raising their heads already, with 3 x 15kn days forecast for the mid/end of this week in Port Mac. We have had light NEs all weekend (8kns or so). The last time this happened a couple of seasons ago we had a cracking wavesailing season from mid August all the way through to the end of March!!!

A BIG THANKS goes to Sam and Chris at Wind Surf n Snow for kitting me up again after all my gear was ripped off late last season . You guys are good blokes!
