Had a classic session at Gangsters Its called this (because you got to sail as if your one , get pitted, then wack it , slot in the zone, then get in and out before the alarm goes off when your running out of water,and it then can slaps you like a bitch onto the plate ledge.
Most times to sail these locations and survive (I.E) with the option to straighten up you need medium to high tides, and these are special places that dont happen every day ,the take off is often in front of a ledge or a heaving suck rock.

To top it off i spotted a trawler in the distance only 1km off the coast tacking North for the scallop season.
What more outside jybe entertainment do you need. To my supprise in 3m swell and 18 -25knot the thing starts bearing down on me with its booms out and surfing hard. I **** more because i knew it was probabaly one of me mates and he wouldn t hesitate to come really close. I went in front APPROX 50M Luck it worked out ,it was riding waves for 20m. Man what a buzz when you encounter big moving boats..........with solid wind and seas.
Laugh when you come out and get over the slab ...........when it is casted apon you,from the heathing mouth of the one eyed beast, stay pinned ,and held down.... in the caves of the slab, known as cells of hell.
getting back to the topic - i love buzzing boats offshore, but I've snagged fishing lures with my fin!
