In lots of languages inanimate objects are gendered (either male or female).
I'm wondering what's the appropriate gender for a sailboard. They look somewhat phallic (except formula of course) but boats are typically female.
Any suggestions?

My board is moody and requires attention - must be female.
Seriously, it's female in the french language, only because windsurfing consists of 2 existing words, the first of which happens to be female. Nothing to do with the aforementioned riding comments.
