Ok. This one is the same few runs. Leave the sound off unless you want to hear the yeehaas! at approx 4.20mins..If you want fast forward it to the end 5.16 & freeze it to see the expression on my face as I fall off the back in the gybe..It looked much better in a bigger version on Tv my partner loved it & got me to rerun it a few times..![]()
Ill put a photo taken of me falling off that gybe under neath ![]()
Fantastic!! Committed fully into the gybe in the photo
and leaning into the turn .
Love the second half of vid with
harness line flapping in the wind. Quite cool.
Put this video into the short
film competition thingy.
Need to lose the gloves
you're right about staying low - the tips from Jem Hall are to stay low, and look out the turn (ie look out to where you going to), as it helps get the weight over the board in right direction, and lined up for the rig flip ![]()
You need lean further forwards as well with your gybe. This will help you stay on the plane around the gybe and make it easier to grab the sail
Great vid Sue. I'm tempted to fire up iMovie and make a clip of my sailing adventure on Port Stephens late January. A fair bit of footage was recorded and it's a pretty spot.
